In his role as general secretary for the school leaders union ASCL, Pepe has tasked himself with producing a better settlement for education so that schools and colleges have the funding and staff they need to produce the successful educational outcomes.  Pepe has previously been an executive headteacher of two schools and served as assistant director of education in Rotherham.
