As the founding Chief Executive of the Confederation of School Trusts – the sector body for school trusts in England – Leora’s voice is listened to in the sector. The CST has recently raised suggestions to improve Ofsted's reforms, which has been taken on board, resulting in a series of wraparound measures to support a smooth start to the inspection framework. Leora has advised governments and sits on several DfE advisory bodies. She was the vice chair of the Head Teacher Standards Review Group, a member of the external advisory group for the Schools White Paper, SEND National Implementation Board and the Regulatory and Commissioning Review.
